We are seeking an Assistant Marketing Manager for our Bread Marketing team at Bimbo Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for executing marketing strategies to promote and drive share of multiple brands including the #1 bread brand in Canada, Dempster’s® and new global brand Tia Rosa® from Mexico, across multiple segments: Tortillas, Buns, and Rolls. We are looking for an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for food and consumers, strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking skills, and experience in project management working closely with cross-functional stakeholders. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Hiring Requirements:

•    Primary responsibility is to develop and execute marketing plans for the portfolio to ensure success and achieve the overall objectives, such as share leadership, volume & profit targets
•    Manage day-to-day portfolio activities and problem resolution with key functional areas including: product development, regulatory, quality assurance, sales, finance, operations and distribution
•    Lead project coordination for new product opportunities, including innovation/renovation, packaging improvements, and account presentations
•    Collect and analyze relevant market data to identify & act on insights as required
•    Provide regular reports on business performance to identify key performance drivers, opportunities, and potential threats for the brands and segments 
•    Engage in strategic planning activities, such as business reviews, marketing plans, communication strategies, and playbooks (planning with sales)
•    Manage and balance multiple brand budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources across marketing initiatives.
