The Opportunity
The Assistant Merchant supports the merchants in implementing merchandise plans for multiple categories. Additionally, they are responsible for a personal subcategory within a large category.
The Assistant Merchant must partner with many areas, so they must have excellent follow-through. You will be responsible for assisting the merchant in maintaining several schedules and deadlines.

Assist merchant and design team to create products based on categories product seasonality and trends.Create product development sheets for our Merchandising team that are succinct, easy to understand across many languages, and have all the details entered.Gather, maintain, and re-distribute all Product Specification sheets for each merchant.Order, track, and organize all new samples for photography.Maintain offer assortment electronically in Forecast 21Accuracy of product color and copy including description, sizes, and finishes in print and e-commerceMaintain and flow new Vendor Set up formsWhat You Bring
College degree required.Excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets)Computer knowledge: Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams2 yrs. relevant work experience.Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
