Responsibilities

In keeping with the Marian Medical Center health care philosophy, the Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) manages quality patient care through the nursing process. Coordinates the plan of care with the health care team. Assumes a visible leadership role in the unit. Responsible for facilitating a work environment that values professional nursing practice, support autonomy, encourages collaborative relationships and promotes communications up and down the corporate chain of command.  Responsible for overseeing the completion of unit competency assessments, annual safety reviews,
CPR license renewals, and maintaining continuing education as required by hospital policy. In addition to these responsibilities, the ANM may be assigned other duties of an administrative nature.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Registered Nurse with one (1) to two (2) years of work experience in Emergency Department.Current California Registered Nurse license.Current approved health care provider CPR certification BLS.ACLS Certification- Within 30 days of start date.PALS Certification- Within 30 days of start date.

Preferred Qualifications:

TNCC Certification, desired.

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.  This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
