Job Summary + Job Title: Assistant Nurse Manager, RN + Schedule: 7pm-7am, Full- Time, Variable Shifts + Department: - Medical Surgical Unit + Location: Kernersville Medical Center – Kernersville, NC We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Nurse Manager to help oversee the daily operations of a 46-bed medical-surgical unit, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. This role provides leadership to nursing staff, manages staffing and resources, supports professional development, and drives performance improvement initiatives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Qualifications + Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. BSN, preferred. Graduate Degree, preferred. + Experience: + Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred. + Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred. + Licensure/Certification: + Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. + NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. + Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications. + Additional Skills (required): Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
