An established large family owned business is currently hiring in their corporate office. We are seeking an Assistant Office Manager in Largo, 33773. This is a permanent position offering full time hours + Benefits. Starting pay is up to $28.00/hr

About the company: Open and operating for over 30 Years serving the Tampa area and parts of central and south Florida. This is an electrical company providing commercial electrical services to local government agencies, schools, hospitals and commercial buildings. Contracts are focused on large commercial projects. Maintenance, installation and repair.
About the position: This position will report to the Office Manager and is focused on providing administrative and clerical accounting support to the Office Manager. Duties will include the preparation and review of purchase orders (PO’s), work orders and assisting with engineering bids. This role will also support payroll duties; inputting hours, discrepancies, deductions, & setting up new employees in the program. Additional duties will include answering the phones, data entry, filing, and general clerical tasks. Applicants with experience working in constructions, electrical/electrician, plumbing, HVAC or similar engineering type background are strongly encouraged to apply.
Minimum Requirements
Intermediate math skills; comfortable with basic accounting, payroll or bid research
Exceptional customer service
4+ years of administrative support experience
MS Excel (intermediate – must know basic formulas)
BA Degree in Accounting or Finance is strongly preferred
