PLEASE NOTE BEFORE APPLYING: 
1.    To be eligible for the VIE program, you must be European, aged between 18-28 years' old and graduated from a master/engineering degree. 
2.    Your application must be submitted in English to be considered by our non-French speaking teams in our plants worldwide. 
3.    As part of your international development, you cannot perform a VIE in the country of your citizenship. 
 
The VIE Program of Faurecia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates, native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein, and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiaries around the world!

We are looking for an Assistant Operations Controller VIE who will provide support to the NAO Division, and who will be based in Toledo, OH – USA.  
 
The mission will last 18 months [US missions are 12-18 months total in length.] 
 
The Assistant Operations Controller supports the Operations Controller in the implementation of plant controlling basics, providing a consolidated view of the operational performance of the Regional Business Unit (RBU) and assists the plant controlling teams.
 
Here are the main responsibilities of this role:  
•    Ensure plant controlling teams are informed and trained to controlling procedures, policies, and tools, especially in ICB and month-end closing.
•    Ensure consistency and standardization of controlling processes within the RBU.
•    Alert and arbitrate in case of discrepancies.
•    Ensure site activities are compliant with Faurecia finance-related procedures (product flow, inventory, routing times) and internal control basics.
•    Contribute to internal and external audits.
•    Participate in financial forecasting processes, providing data for budget, periodic forecast, etc.
•    Collect data and consolidate reporting at RBU level.
•    Support the plant controlling teams with month-end closing activities.
•    Support the plant controlling teams with standard costing activities.
•    Ensure reliability, consistency, transparency, and delay compliance.
•    Support the plant controlling teams on assigned issues with on-site visits if needed.
•    Support the RBU Operations Controller with weekly and monthly reviews preparation and required plant visits (physical inventories, etc.).

Your profile and competencies to succeed

The ideal candidate will be/have: 
•    Master’s degree in finance or related field.
•    Fluent in English.
•    Significant apprenticeship/internship experience in controlling, preferably in an industrial environment. 
•    Computer literate and good knowledge of IT systems (especially SAP).
•    Strong accounting, teamwork, and communication skills.
•    Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s code of Ethics and Code of Management.
