We are currently seeking an Assistant Operations Officer to support our PMA-208 customer at NAS Patuxent River, MD. The Assistant Operations Officer will work directly for the Program Office’s Operations Officer and assist in the day to day running of the Program Office and its staff.
Functional Description: Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of public or private sector organizations. Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources, but are too diverse and general in nature to be classified in any one functional area of management or administration, such as personnel, purchasing, or administrative services.
Duties:
Manage and process all internal/external Tasking to include Action Item Tracker Maintain correspondence/serial log Format, process, and maintain all program office correspondence Manage urinalysis program Maintain Welcome Aboard package Maintain Incoming/Outgoing personnel checklist Maintain Emergency Contact list Inventory and order office supplies Coordinate Office offsite events Process BASICS & DISS requests Create and format navy messages Manage/coordinate working day security checks utilizing the SF 701 checklist Maintain PMA-208 processes and procedures Edit documents as needed (Org Charts, military manning & milestone charts) Edit, and route PMA-208 briefings Manage facility requirements Manage MWR-related activities Review, edit and route internal/external awards Manage day-to-day operations Manage PMA-208 spaces (professional/cleanliness) Manage and maintain required security documentation, SF700, SF701, SF702 forms Coordinate destruction of classified material Wrap/transport/mail classified documents (Back up) Pick-up/receipt/log incoming classified mail (Back up) Research, and prepare PMA-208 news releases (may need PAO assistance) Coordinate external leadership messaging (may need PAO assistance) Edit, proofread, route documents for public release and media queries Mail courier (check & sendoff mail) NAVAIR Reservation system admin (backup) Manage Geedunk Manage PMA-208 spaces (professional/cleanliness) Security Coordinator back-up Prepare and track Courier Cards Wrap/transport/mail classified documents Pick-up/receipt/log incoming classified mail Coordinate annual classified material clean outRequired Education: Bachelor's Degree with allowable substitutions. 6 years’ additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s Degree plus 4 years’ additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
Required Experience: Three to ten years of experience.
Desired Experience Requirement: Ten plus years of EA / OPS experience with experience and proficiency in the following products: Team, Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint), BASICSII, JPAS (DISS), HEAT, SharePoint/Share Drive, RAPS, DTS
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $44,054.00 to $115,625.33(annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package.
