ROLE OVERVIEW
While working in the Clean Room, Coating, Converting, Extrusion, Lamination, Rewind, Slitting or Press department you will be given an opportunity to develop your skills through our training programs. You start at an assistant level position to learn the basics, and have the chance to progress and become a machine operator. You will have various opportunities to cross-train and develop new skill sets for a successful career at Amcor.
SHIFTS:
12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 shift schedule rotating bi-weekly from days to nights12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 shift schedule straight days (5:00am-5:00pm)12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 shift schedule straight nights (5:00pm-5:00am)COMPENSATION: $24.17/hour + $1.20/hour night shift premium available + 1.5x pay on Sundays!
Work just 3 or 4 days a week and shift schedules provided a whole calendar year in advance! Enjoy a three day weekend every other weekend!

Assist Coater Operator with all aspects of the jobLearn to operate the machine and serve as backup operator when operator is away from machine or on vacationBanding return stock, empty cores, headers, start-up rolls, and butt rollsLoading new stock on back of machine and unloading finished rollsChanging and cleaning silicon rollsAdjust slitters and tension for each jobDaily and weekly housekeepingAll other duties as assigned by supervisor or managementPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
