**Description**
**$49,646.00 - $62,058 annually**
+ Develop and submit binding generation and resource offers in two Regional Transmission Organizations (RTO).
+ Monitor AECC's demand in RTO markets in real time and takes appropriate action to mitigate financial impact.
+ Calculate fuel requirements for AECC on-line generation in RTOs and communicates desire to AECC Fuels department.
+ Check the Day Ahead Market Portfolio positions for accuracy and Market compliance.
+ Procure transmission reservations to meet AECC’s requirements using Open Access Same-Time Information System.
+ Develop and submit electronic tags for schedule of physical energy to meet AECC's load requirement.
+ Monitor commercial customers and employ economic and reliability interruption when required.
+ Follow directives and Operating instructions when issued by RCs, TOPs, or LBAs to meet compliance requirements.
+ Maintain high degree of situational awareness to meet constantly changing system conditions.
+ The ability to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position.
+ Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.
+ Due to our obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to our customers, the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and the ability to work outside your regularly scheduled office hours when necessary is an essential function of the job.
**Minimum Qualifications**
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field plus one year of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
**PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**
NERC System Operators Certification

Normal working conditions as found within an office setting, wherein there is controlled temperature and a low noise level, plus a minimum of distractions.
