Job DescriptionThe Assistant Press Operator will assists Press Operators with press make ready, operating, and maintaining sheet-fed or web offset printing press.

This position is on a 2:2:3 schedule. The core hours are 6:45 - 7:00.
QualificationsAbility to read and follow job specifications to determine press set-up materials needed to run the job successfullySkill to follow instructions to operate equipment safely and produce the desired productAbility to use micrometer to mount and align the printing plate correctlyAbility tomake adjustments to feeder and feed board (e.g., ability to adjust suctions and blast, front and side guides and the timing of the head stops)Skill in performing routine operational maintenance and minor repairs to equipment under guidance of senior level Press OperatorsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredRequires minimum 2 years general knowledge of offset presswork procedures and materialsAdditional InformationThe national pay range for this role is $21.00-$23.00/hour. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
