The Assistant Procurement Manager Home Care Philippines (Fixed Term Contract) will support responsibility for the E2E Procurement management of Raw Materials for Unilever Home Care Philippines
The role will be instrumental in the delivery of Procurement strategies aligned with BU strategy & agenda, delivering profitability & growth through competitive buying, driving resiliency and savings, and ensuring superior service and products by building strong partnership governance with our suppliers.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Service & Resilience
Coordinate with Global Buyers, Planning team, and Suppliers to ensure material availability and smooth material deliveryEnsure timely placement of contracts and delivery through Effective negotiations & Competitive benchmarkingSupport with the E2E Management of locally sourced materials from negotiation, contract, operations, and servicesWork with Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, and Global Buyers to ensure resilience action plan and execution in place to support business growthTrack RM aspects of Innovation networks to support OTIF innovation deliveryCost & Cash
Ensure Net Material Inflation and Gross Margin Target delivery for the BU, through net buying productivity agenda.Coordinate with R&D teams and support smart product/Spec initiatives and Ensure the Company Gross Margin agenda is delivered through Improved buying performance, 5S Savings and special initiatives for materials. To support in Savings input and overall monitoring in the systemsConduct cost benchmarking exercises and derive best-in-class value.Sustainability & Strategic Partnerships
Implementation of supplier strategy, sourcing network strategy and E2E management of RM manufacturersManage cost and service of local RM manufacturers by effectively assessing partners through commercial and contract negotiations.Others
Build Procurement Masterdata, using such data for analysis and continuous improvement in the Procurement ProcessesEnsure timely payments to suppliers including Issues resolution to avoid delays in deliveries impacting to serviceExperiences, Qualifications, Skills
Degree Qualification in Business, Engineering, Finance or Supply Chain related is preferred3 to 5 years of experience in a Procurement/supply chain role either in a FMCG industry or in a large complex organization with strong portfolio and market expertiseStrong negotiation skills, and business & commercial acumenStrong people and stakeholder Management SkillsExcellent critical thinking, analytical and story-telling skillsChange and crisis management experience for global/large programs is an advantageBackground/experience in data analytics is an advantageSkills
