We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Assistant to join the Performance Materials team. team. You will support the Product Management team in the tactical activities required for developing the respective product portfolios and achieving the agreed growth targets, as well as in the effective alignment with other parts of the business including the local Sales, Customer Services, Supply Chain and Regulatory teams.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Assistance to the PM team in the development, maintenance, and management of suppliers/ product portfolios. Responsibility for analysis and reporting. Sales tracking of assigned products. Monthly control of stock rotation and management of obsolete stock. Coordinating and requesting the collection of all product documentation. Working in coordination with the PM team to develop pricing strategies and feedback information to sales. Liaising with Supply Chain to determine appropriate forecasts and stock levels. Ensuring strong relationships with all internal functions and external contacts. Compliance with all company processes, policies and guidelines.
Requirements:
Preferably university degree in Economics/Business Administration / Marketing / Chemical Sciences. Product, market and commercial experience or knowledge. Able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment. Experience in data interpretation, development and report generation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty. Meeting targets and willingly accepting additional challenges. Preferably with high knowledge of SAP. MS Office experience required. Excellent communication skills (including presentations). Good level of English. Strong negotiation skills. Operational autonomy, excellent planning and organizational skills, ability to work by priorities. High motivation, willingness to get involved, curiosity, enthusiasm, open-mindedness, and ability to work in both a local and international context. Strong problem-solving skills. Experience in purchasing and logistics. Work area: Paris.
