Assistant Professor, Economics
**Job Description:** The Department of Economics invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning September 2025. The primary interest is in macroeconomics, particularly monetary economics. The successful candidate will teach introductory and upper-level undergraduate courses, including money and banking and financial markets and institutions, as well as share in the department’s commitment to grow graduate programs. Primarily based at the Fairfield campus, the candidate may also elect to teach at the Bridgeport campus. A Ph.D. in economics by August 2025, an active research program, a commitment to teaching excellence, and innovation in using technology are required.
