Assistant Professor, Philosophy
**Job Description:** The Philosophy Department of Fairfield University invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position to begin September 2025 pending budget approval. AOS: Philosophy of Law AOC: Open, although the department has needs in Social and Political Philosophy. Candidates should also be prepared to teach Introduction to Philosophy as well as upper division courses in their area of specialization. The Philosophy Department is a significant contributor to the University core curriculum. Salary is competitive. **Qualifications** A Ph.D. in Philosophy is required by the time of the appointment.
