Position Summary:
The Arkansas State University (ASTATE) Department of Psychology and Counseling, in the College of Education and Behavioral Science, seeks an Assistant Professor of Psychology, Tenure-Track (9 months) for the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) Accredited School Psychology Track of the Educational Specialist (E.Ds.) Degree Program in Psychology and Counseling.
Duties & Responsibilities:
T eaching may include, but not be limited to the following school psychology graduate courses:
+ Psychological and educational assessment
+ School psychology practicum in applied settings
+ Developmental and differential psychology
+ Applied analysis of psychological research
+ Professional school psychology
Other duties will include student advisement and mentoring, maintaining an active research program, service to the program, department, college, and university, and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
A earned doctoral degree from a recognized school psychology program accredited/approved by the NASP or the American Psychological Association (APA).
Applicant must be eligible for licensure as a School Psychology Specialist in Arkansas with the Arkansas Department of Education and certification as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP).
Eligibility for licensure as a Licensed Psychologist in Arkansas is preferred.
