Position Summary: The Arkansas State University (ASTATE) Department of Psychology and Counseling, in the College of Education and Behavioral Science, seeks an Assistant Professor of Psychology, Tenure-Track (9 months) for the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) Accredited School Psychology Track of the Educational Specialist (E.Ds.) Degree Program in Psychology and Counseling. Duties & Responsibilities: T eaching may include, but not be limited to the following school psychology graduate courses: + Psychological and educational assessment + School psychology practicum in applied settings + Developmental and differential psychology + Applied analysis of psychological research + Professional school psychology Other duties will include student advisement and mentoring, maintaining an active research program, service to the program, department, college, and university, and other duties as assigned. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: General Days/Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Additional hours as requested and/or needed Regular and reliable attendance Other: Please note: All postings close at 12 A.M. Applicant must be eligible for licensure as a School Psychology Specialist in Arkansas with the Arkansas Department of Education and certification as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP). Eligibility for licensure as a Licensed Psychologist in Arkansas is preferred.
