The position requires a PhD degree, with prior post-doctorate research experience. Preferred candidates will also have prior research experience focused on women's health and teaching experience in a university academic environment. Applicants must have the potential for academic accomplishment.

Function/Duties of Position

Research – Build own research enterprise through external funding, but also mentor and develop other scientists within the Department and throughout the campus. Collaborate on research opportunities with other faculty members in the division.

 

Education - Teach and mentor trainees including medical students, graduate students, residents, fellows, and faculty informally as well as through assigned lectures to be given during the course of the year.

 

Administration – As an OHSU faculty member this position will be expected to participate in faculty meetings at the division and department level, and serve on OHSU committees and in other activities as requested by the department chair or division head in furtherance of division, department, or OHSU goals and objectives.
