Summary of Job Duties:The Assistant Professor position is in the Department of Dermatology in the UAMS College of Medicine. The department fully embraces academic missions of high-quality clinical care, education, and research, with goals to expand outreach and dermatologic access to patients across the state.
Qualifications:M.D. or equivalent.License to practice medicine or eligibility for licensure in Arkansas.Candidate must be Dermatology board eligible (preferably board certified).Service and experience commensurate with the rank of assistant professor (indicated by academic appointment approval)


Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality outpatient care to patients with a wide range of dermatologic conditions.

Ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plans for diverse patient needs.

Participate in the education and mentorship of resident physicians, medical students, and other healthcare learners.

Share responsibility with fellow faculty members for inpatient dermatology consultations.

Participate in on-call rotation to provide timely and expert dermatologic care in hospital settings.
