The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of adult psychiatry with a focus on experience as an attending psychiatrist. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Psychiatry and Pennsylvania medical license are required.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching of trainees including medical students and psychiatric residents.
Clinical responsibilities may include direction and supervision of all activities for psychiatric inpatients at Pennsylvania Hospital that will include direction of patient care, supervision of establishing a diagnosis, development and implementation of treatment plans, documentation of treatment services and supervision of all clinical personnel.
