Recruitment/Posting Title Assistant Professor-Endocrinology Department NJMS-Medicine-Endocrinology Salary Commensurate With Experience Posting Summary Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) seeks a qualified candidate at the Assistant Professor level in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. The selected candidate will provide support to grow the Endocrinology service. Responsibilities will include patient care, research, and teaching (medical students/resident physicians and subspecialty fellows) in the field of Endocrinology in concert with the policies of Rutgers NJMS, University Hospital, and the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. Candidates with an interest and/or specialization in Obesity Medicine, Thyroid and Pituitary disease management, or Neuroendocrine disease management are encouraged to apply. Duties and responsibilities will be performed at University Hospital (150 Bergen Street, Newark, NJ 07103) and Ambulatory Care Center (140 Bergen St, Newark, NJ 07103).  Requirements include Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent; Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism; New Jersey State Medical License; State of New Jersey Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) Physician Registration; and Controlled Substance Registration Certificate from Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
