Assistant Professor - Nuclear Medicine Technology **FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT** Bronx Community College is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor in Nuclear Medicine Technology. This full-time position involves teaching and related faculty functions in a dynamic learning environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and instruction of courses within the Nuclear Medicine Technology program. Duties and Responsibilities: Instruct core Nuclear Medicine Technology courses. Develop and implement engaging instructional materials and assessments. Provide Academic support and mentorship to students. Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance program curriculum. Maintain industry knowledge and integrate current practices into instruction. Participate in departmental meetings and college-wide initiatives. Maintain accreditation standards set by the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT). Demonstrate teaching effectiveness with the use of assessment tools. **QUALIFICATIONS** Qualifications: A master's degree from an accredited institution is required. Must be a licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist CNMT or ARRT(N) required; Must have at least five (5) years of experience practicing as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Strong commitment to student success and excellence in teaching. Demonstrated knowledge in core Nuclear Medicine topics such as radiopharmacy, clinical procedures, instrumentation, and radiation safety. Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate Degree Prior teaching experience in higher education or a clinical setting. Post Primary Licensure in Computed Tomography - either NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT). **COMPENSATION** Salary range: $52,267 - $99, 532. Salary commensurate with education and experience. CUNY is in the process of implementing salary schedule increases. Once implemented, salaries of eligible employee will be adjusted by 6.09% with additional increases of 3.25% effective 9/1/2025 and 3.5% effective 9/1/2026, in accordance with the terms of the PSC-CUNY collective bargaining agreement.
