Assistant Professor of Accounting

The Massey College of Business (MCB) Accounting Department at Belmont University is seeking applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning Fall 2024.

Candidates must have an interest in teaching accounting at the undergraduate and graduate levels.  All areas of accounting will be considered (AIS, financial, managerial, audit).  The primary modality of instruction is in-person delivery.   Within the Belmont community, the MCB seeks to cultivate impactful leaders who are recognized for their business expertise and moral clarity in pursuit of a flourishing world.  This unique mission allows us to respond to opportunities in Nashville, TN, a thriving and globally connected metro area, while also employing Christ-based values in pursuit of the greater societal good.  Prior professional experience in public accounting or industry is valued.    Ph.D. or progress toward a terminal degree is required; teaching experience is strongly preferred.  As all Belmont undergraduates complete an innovative general education program with significant interdisciplinary components, Belmont University is particularly seeking applicants who can demonstrate the interest and ability to work collaboratively in course design and to teach interdisciplinary and topical courses in this program.  For additional information about the position and to complete the online application, candidates are directed to https://jobs.belmont.edu.
