The teaching component (2 + 2) requires delivering required/elective courses in Accounting at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. Faculty are expected to participate in curriculum development and assessment, and engage in other service duties for the school and the college, both internally and externally, and contribute to the intellectual environment of the area. To support faculty research, the school provides summer funding for the first three years of service and subscriptions to WRDS and other standard databases. The School of Management (SOM) at Binghamton University and the Accounting Program have received separate AACSB accreditations and is nationally recognized for its success in developing future business leaders.
