Job Description Summary The Entrepreneurship Division at Babson College is seeking applicants for a full-time, Assistant Professor of Practice in Entrepreneurship starting in the 2025-26 academic year. Our expectation is to hire at the Assistant level, but individuals with exceptional experience could be considered at the Associate level. We seek intellectually curious colleagues who are aligned with our mission of educating responsible entrepreneurial leaders who create economic and social value everywhere and are focused on attracting exceptional talent to add to the academic experience on our campus.

WHAT YOU WILL DO Generate new pedagogy and update curriculum that is generationally and technologically relevant for our undergraduates by integrating a future-forward perspective and strategic foresight. Work as a team collaborating with faculty across disciplines, both in integrated team teaching and in college service. Develop a portfolio of practical and/or scholarly materials to contribute to the broader practice and/or academic communities. Commit to, working in a way that will support and enhance the College’s commitment to teaching in an aligned, engaged, and inclusive manner. Assume additional responsibilities as required.


WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED A graduate degree in business is required. Experienced teaching entrepreneurship at the undergraduate and graduate level to an entrepreneurially focused, global, and multi-cultural student population. Interested and has experience in developing pedagogical tools to continue advancing Babson’s experiential curriculum. Enthusiastic about teaching in Babson’s flagship course Foundations of Management & Entrepreneurship. Has entrepreneurship experience via start-up, acquisition, and/or in some other form in the entrepreneurial ecosystem (investors, board member, etc.) Has a proven track record of teaching excellence in person and online using technology and innovative methods in course delivery, including proficiency in hybrid and online delivery modalities. HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK
This is an onsite position: it will require physical presence on campus and the ability to teach a 3/3 course load. Additional Information About the Entrepreneurship Division the Entrepreneurship Division is a community of collaborative, supportive colleagues, skilled at creative, experiential teaching methods. The Division comprises: 1) 20 academic professors who have entrepreneurship experience in addition to PhDs and are among the most accomplished researchers in the field, 2) seven Professors of Practice, and 3) nine Adjunct Instructors who have extensive experience as entrepreneurs, investors, consultants, and corporate leaders.
