Role Description

Role Accountabilities

Take a proactive role in assessing and evaluating project management processes, sharing knowledge, identifying opportunities and providing advice to help improve processes and systems Apply technical methods and expertise to complete complex, professional level tasks as requested by colleagues, prioritising case load and interpreting established policies in order to effectively support the project management function Provide support on project management queries to customers inside and outside the business, ensuring an efficient and high-quality provision of information to all internal and external stakeholders Assist senior staff to resolve stakeholder issues by flagging issues as soon as they are encountered and suggesting appropriate solutions in order to contribute to client care to ensure ongoing client satisfaction

 

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience, preferably assisting in the management of small to medium-sized projects within the construction industry. Proficiency in project and program management methodologies and tools, with a basic understanding of their application in delivering projects and programs on time and within budget. Demonstrated expertise at the 'Practitioner' level in one or more service lines relevant to construction project and program management, with a focus on quality control, document coordination, and document management. Experience in implementing and maintaining quality control measures, overseeing document coordination processes, and managing document repositories. Familiarity with construction regulations, codes, and standards, particularly in relation to quality control and documentation requirements. Basic knowledge of contract management principles and practices, including procurement processes and subcontractor management, with an understanding of document management aspects. Strong problem-solving skills, with the capacity to address challenges related to quality control, document coordination, and document management, under guidance from senior consultants. Ability to assist project and program teams effectively, by participating in task delegation, providing support, and facilitating collaboration. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to assist in liaising effectively with peers, senior colleagues, and external stakeholders, contributing to relationship-building efforts. Commercial acumen and organizational understanding within the construction industry, with a willingness to learn and grow in these areas. Track record of contributing to the delivery of high-quality project and program deliverables and supporting client satisfaction. Eagerness to seek opportunities for professional development and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in project and program management, with a focus on quality control, document coordination, and document management. Strong attention to detail and commitment to assisting in delivering excellence in quality control, document coordination, and document management aspects of project and program management consultancy. Willingness to learn digitalization and process automations, as well as to contribute to the development of insightful dashboard reports to enhance project and program management processes.
