Job Title: Assistant Project Manager
Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and organized Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the Materials Department, focusing on managing deliverables, documentation, and coordination for current projects and other materials-related initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2–3 years of experience in geotechnical, foundational, or materials engineering, looking to transition into a project management role.

ResponsibilitiesTrack outgoing proposals and follow up on them.Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure project execution is timely and accurate.Provide general support to the Materials Department, which will constitute approximately 70% of the role.Dedicate 30% of the role to managing current projects and initiatives.Essential SkillsProficiency in documentation and project tracking.Familiarity with geotechnical, foundational, or construction materials concepts.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Basic understanding of project management principles, proposal writing, client communication, project budgets, and invoicing.Additional Skills & QualificationsDegree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related field, or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.2–3 years of industry-related experience.Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.Strong initiative and desire to grow into a full Project Manager role.Work Environment

The role is primarily office-based with occasional site visits or meetings in a collaborative team environment involving cross-functional coordination. It may involve working with subcontractors, vendors, and clients, utilizing project management and documentation tools.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
