Advantage SCI is seeking an Entry-level Project Manager supporting the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) Directorate of Intelligence (J2) requirements in Tampa, Florida and at a variety of other locations throughout CONUS/OCONUS. Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI (Poly Desired)
Reports To: Program Manager
Work Location: Tampa, Florida (Remote option if based in Tampa)
Anticipated Start: August 2025
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Manages project operations to ensure production schedules are met, resources are utilized effectively, and that proper relationships are established between our employees and the customer.
+ Responsible for cost, schedule, performance and risk identification/mitigation on projects including but not limited to mission support services, products, deliverables, workloads and work-related activities.
+ Coordinates resolutions to services or product-related problems.
+ Leads the team and reviews quality of work and deliverables to the customer for acceptable quality thresholds.
+ Monitors employees professional development and skills maintenance.
+ Monitors all work activities to successfully execute and manage contract requirements.
+ Manages workloads and timelines for completeness, and problem identification/correction.
+ Provides corrective action plans, task order submittals when needed, timely identification of performance issues, and effective management of contractor employees.
+ Ensures customer satisfaction and professional and ethical behavior of all contractor personnel.
+ Participates with HR team processes and plays a major role in evaluating and selecting new/candidate to fill vacancies, to include formatting resumes for submission to the customer.
+ Conducts site visits to monitor personnel performance and conduct periodic luncheons and employee recognition sessions.
Required Experience:
Experience:
+ Minimum 4 years’ experience serving in the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, or military service, performing supervision, manager, or site lead functions; including performance evaluation of subordinate personnel.
+ Manage subordinate personnel using clear organizational lines of authority, formal communication/coordination processes to ensure effective management of the personnel resources assigned to the requirement.
+ Working knowledge of CENTCOM J2 missions
+ Familiarity with government budgets, monthly tracking of expenditures/invoicing, timesheet tracking, and burn rates.
Qualifications:
+ It is desirable the candidate has, in addition to standard qualifications and skill requirements, include experience at a Combatant Command or equivalent organization and experience in the regional, political and military issue in the CENTCOM AOR
+ Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall) and proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira).
+ Soft skills such as strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, as well as emotional intelligence and adaptability.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree.
