Summary of Job:
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for helping in the planning, directing, and coordinating activities of electrical projects to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters by assisting in performing the following duties with the guidance of a project manager or senior project manager.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in business, management, or engineering or related field is required; or minimum of (4) four years related experience in the electrical construction field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Skills and Abilities:The physical activities described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. May work with or around chemicals that require knowledge of a safety data sheet.Individuals in an office-based position will encounter ambient room temperatures, fluorescent lighting, and will be expected to operate traditional office equipment as found in any typical office environment. Individuals may need to sit at a desk or table for long periods of time. An office worker may also be expected to spend long hours in front of a computer screen.
