The role
As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is a proactive and dedicated multi skilled team who work closely with various customers, users and stakeholders to identify, develop and deliver cost effective and efficient technology solutions to improve and enhance business output across the Maritime environment.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll provide support to the Project Managers and the wider Digital Solutions team in all aspects of project management, assisting in the project elements of service management and delivery of projects. 

 

 

Assist in the delivery, management and support of a variety of projects to the agreed budget, timescales and quality standard Liaise and work with internal and external stakeholders, users and customers in order to provide project management based support

 

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.

 

Essential experience of the Assistant Project Manager

A working knowledge of project management and have experience of working in a project or project management office role previously. A knowledge and understanding of project management methods and leadership skills.  An understanding and knowledge of procurement, scheduling, budget and cost control, risk management, stakeholder management, communications and change control

 

Qualifications for the Assistant Project Manager

Educated  to degree level or holds a relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience. Experience of managing or supporting projects using techniques including APM, Prince 2 and ITIL.

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
