We have extensive experience with projects such as: high-rise/urban, aerospace, commercial, education, hospitality, healthcare, laboratory, mission critical, industrial, manufacturing, municipal, multifamily, and others. We are currently seeking candidates for an Assistant Project Manager for our Automated Controls division in our Nashville office. Location: Nashville, TN Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our Automated Controls team. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and completion of building automation projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity for career growth in a rapidly expanding industry. Key Responsibilities: + Assist in the coordination and management of building automation projects from initiation to closeout. + Collaborate with, engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget. + Support the development of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans. + Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and clients. + Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary for project execution. + Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements. + Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports. + Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. + Prior experience in project management or construction industry is a plus. + Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) or HVAC systems is desirable. + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. + Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
