Assistant Project Manager - Preconstruction
What we are looking for:
Aldridge is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic and energetic team. This unique entry level role will work in our preconstruction support group (Agile). You will work collaboratively with project teams supporting project planning, technology setup, productivity tracking, and data analytics. Your deep understanding of the Agile Project Planning principles will jump start your project management career. This role is intended to result in advancement after a year into the Assistant Project Management Role. Come join our team, where you will get to learn about all areas of the company, experience all our project technologies, and support project teams across the country.
What you’ll do:
Support essential project duties including:
+ Promoting safe jobsites
+ Pre-job planning
+ Cost and labor tracking – Data Entry, Data Analysis, and Report
+ Setup Document control systems (material submittals, RFIs, change orders, etc.)
+ Support Procurement Planning
+ Training & Supporting Project teams to use our Project Management Systems
Who you are:
We are pursuing entry-level candidates with the following qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Management, other related major, or equivalent construction/Union trade background
+ Internships or other relevant work experience
+ Strong work ethic
+ Problem solving and critical thinking skills
+ Ability to prioritize and manage time
+ Excellent communication
