Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager

Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Assistant Project Manager  to join its Living Studio located in Vancouver. This position collaborates with a diverse and creative team, dedicated to excellence in design and innovative problem solving. This position requires someone who coordinates with the client and internal team members and supports the development of design.

We are looking for experienced, technically proficient, and personable candidates who have experience in conceptualization and designed buildings and has developed schematic plans based upon a thorough understanding of the Zoning, Building Code, Parking and other Municipal / City bylaws. 
 

Role accountabilities:

Assist or manage projects and staff in the execution of those projects assigned to you.  Conduct reviews of projects and assist with conducting reviews of projects worked on by others.  Possess the excellence and professional and technical expertise necessary to support project work and employ effective communication skills to lead an Architectural project and multi-disciplinary project team.  To concerning the projects assigned to you from preliminary conception to completion, highlighting challenging issues and proposing appropriate solutions. Ensure the project deliverable and drawing quality to meet the project schedule and requirement. Prepare Architectural drawings and specifications and review the work of staff Assist in the development of design processes and develop the project standards Contribute to the creation of work plans and developing fee proposals for Architectural services To ensure the project deliverable and drawing quality to meet the project schedule and requirement. Work with the Studio Manager, other Architect’s and staff on contracts. 
 

Qualifications & Experience:

8-10 years of local architectural experience.  An architectural degree from an accredited program Strong skill with Revit, AutoCAD / Sketch-Up, Office, and Adobe Suite programs preferred Understanding of the Zoning, Building Code, Parking and other Municipal / City bylaws. Work with clients, coordinate with consultant teams and contractors.  Conduct or coordinate site supervision and contract administration for major projects

The salary range for this position is $89,000 - $134,000. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
