Summary You will serve as a ASSISTANT PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT in the NUCLEAR PRODUCTION MANAGER, OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will review and interpret AIM data to ensure all work is completed and certified during availability. You will perform frequent on site surveillance of refueling training and ongoing refueling work. You will be responsible for forecasting resources required for availability, including accurately maintaining the Shipyard Workload and Resource Report (WARR) for the Reactor Servicing effort. You will utilize WEBAIM execution priorities and tools to ensure work is executed as planned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing technical and administrative supervision through subordinate employees. Experience planning and executing daily activities of Reactor Servicing work. Experience understanding the interrelated functions of Nuclear Reactor Servicing work (e.g., equipment preparation, job planning, work scheduling, trade processes, and radiological controls). Experience ensuring compliance with proper nuclear work methods and procedures with established technical, radiological, and quality requirements. Experience identifying problems and taking corrective action to resolve complex issues.
