Assistant Property Manager
Description As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a key role in supporting asset management operations for all off-campus properties managed by UCLA Health Real Estate | Planning, Design, and Construction. Primary responsibilities include: * Serve as point of contact for all tenants, ensuring timely and effective communication regarding property-related matters. * Provide asset management support for all off-campus properties operated by UCLA Health Real Estate. * Assist with general building and property management services, including overseeing the facilities work order system. * Manage vendor and maintenance contracts, ensuring compliance with service agreements and performance expectations. * Oversee invoice processing and purchase order generation for property-related expenses. * Develop and maintain rental and operating expense reports to support financial planning and decision-making. * Coordinate new occupancy agreements and lease renewals, including preparing tenant statements. * Lead minor construction projects, such as patching and painting, to maintain and enhance property conditions. About Real Estate | Planning, Design & Construction manages building master planning and construction for UCLA Health. From replacing end-of-life imaging equipment to building out new clinics in the community, we are dedicated to supporting UCLA Health's commitment to deliver leading edge patient care, education and research. The full hourly salary range for this position is $32.95 - $67.53/hour. Please note - the department's target pay range is $35 - $40/hour. May convert to career. Qualifications * Minimum of one year of experience in commercial real estate property management, with a solid understanding of basic real estate law related to commercial leases. * Working knowledge of construction trade practices and processes, including planning, construction, transition planning, renovations, and ongoing maintenance from lease execution to rent commencement. * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. * Ability to travel between buildings/sites within the greater Los Angeles area as needed. * Experience with Bluebeam and MRI is preferred.
