Job Introduction
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Assistant Psychologist to join our digital interventions development team. This is a remote working post.
This is a secondment opportunity for 1 day per week for the period of 9 months (maternity cover). For the rest of the week, you will be still performing your usual duties in your current role.
The interviews will take place on the 12th and 13th of March.

Role Responsibility
The post holder will be part of the Digital Product Development Team developing high quality, evidence based psychosocial interventions for a range of mental health, physical health and substance use difficulties (available via My Rightsteps Hub and MyTP platform) and work under supervision of a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. They will also be responsible for delivering webinars and workshops on a range of health and wellbeing topics, and contribute to management of databases, audits and service evaluation (e.g., by ensuring that outcome measures are collected and interpreted in a clinically meaningful way), research projects (incl. reviewing the literature on selected topics and submitting findings for journal publications, where possible), co-facilitating training and offering coaching (for clients using MyTP platform).
The Ideal Candidate
You will need at least a 2:1 degree in psychology and eligibility for graduate membership with the British Psychological Society. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of the needs and difficulties of people with mental health and substance use difficulties and have experience of delivering psychosocial interventions (individually or in groups). You will have previous experience in carrying out research and be able to manage databases for service evaluations and research projects.
