Associa Chicagoland is recruiting for an Assistant Community Director in the Schaumburg office.The ideal candidate should present themselves professionally, possess strong self-awareness and communication skills, make well-informed decisions, and embrace accountability. The candidate will foster positive business relationships with all owners, residents, board members, and coworkers.
\n\nThe responsibilities of the Assistant Community Director involve extending their influence beyond a specific portfolio of clients. The position will colaborate more in-depth with branch management, receive fundamental training for the supervisory role, and have a greater impact on overall branch performance enhancing the employee experience.
\n\nDuties and tasks include but are not limited to:
\n\nManagement Oversight:
\n\nMaintain a portfolio of assigned duties to the Community Association Manager position. \nInspire new Community Association Managers and peers to deliver unsurpassed management services. \nSupervise a small assignment of Community Association Managers.\nFocus on imparting fundamentals of Associa and industry knowledge.\nEnsure new Community Association Managers' deliverables are met promptly and use standardized client materials. \nMentor and support Community Association Managers to meet the needs of the Association efficiently and motivate associates for maximum individual potential.\nProvide support with obtaining all service, maintenance, and security contracts. \nProvide support with financial management, administration, corporate policies & procedures, property infrastructure, organization, litigation processes, property collections, maintenance, and mechanical procedures.\nHelp establish routine use of management tools and systems to allow Community Association Managers to grow into more extensive portfolios or onsite roles in the company. \nAttend and cover Client Meetings when needed. \nCover emergency calls & client escalations when escalated to the supervisor. \n\n\nTraining:
\n\nServe as CAMO liaison from the branch. Support VP/RD with team training when necessary. \nRepresent self as a positive image of Community Association Management for company activities.\nSupport, develop, and train direct reports. \nProvide spot training to the team when the VP/RD is unavailable.\n\n\nAdditional areas:
\n\nSupport office leadership in office morale activities and hold yourself accountable for displaying positive morale.\nTemporary assignment for specific project or job oversight. \nProvide performance review one-on-ones with direct reports\nPerformance management for direct reports with guidance from the Human Resources Department.\nOther duties assigned\n\n RequirementsRequirements:
\n\nAt least 3-5 years in industry as Community Association Manager.\nCompletion of Associa Leadership Foundations program. \nMust be licensed as a Community Manager through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional.\nRegulation Prefer AMS, and PCAM designations.\nPossess excellent communication skills combined with a thoroughly professional presentation.\nStrong customer service orientation.\nA team player with good business skills.\nSelf-motivated and will go the extra mile for our company and our clients.\nPrior experience in your community or HOA is a plus.\nPossess an ability to read and understand a financial report.\n\n
