Assistant Registrar for St. Jude Graduate School
Supports the administrative responsibilities of the Office of the Registrar through maintaining academic and administrative records in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Responsibilities include: Work closely with the Registrar to oversee processes such as student registration for all programs, refunds, grade maintenance, and student requests. Provide records maintenance, release, and registration services, including registering students, issuing transcripts and verifications, scanning and uploading of documents, and data reporting. Assist students with onboarding and offboarding, course registration, graduation requirements, and general academic inquiries. Collaborate with programs to coordinate regular course scheduling updates. Coordinate school-wide communications regarding items such as course changes, schedule updates, and changes to items within the academic catalog and website. Maintain accurate and up-to-date academic and administrative records. Stay informed of policies and regulations that affect student records. Create reports based on student data, such as enrollment and graduation reports. Support the daily operation of the Office of the Registrar to create efficiency and meet the goals of the Graduate School. Assist with the maintenance and update of the student information system (SIS), system integrations, and other systems related to daily operation of the Graduate School. Maintain the academic catalog by performing updates to program and course information. Interpret and explain a wide range of policies, procedures, and guidelines including the enforcement of the Graduate School’s Protection of Student Data Policy. Coordinate continuous quality review of student records, policy and procedures, and record handling processes. Manage the degree audit process, degree certifications, program version creation, and curricular updates in the student information system. Provide training and development for institutional stakeholders on academic systems and processes. Assist with Graduate School special events. Perform other Registrar duties in the absence of the Registrar. Perform other related duties as required by the Registrar. Minimum Education Bachelor's degree is required. Minimum Experience Experience with FERPA guidelines. Experience in a Registrar’s Office and/or with student support services is required. Experience with student information systems, Learning Management Systems, and Microsoft Office Suite is required. Experience with interacting with graduate students and faculty is preferred. Required Credentials Must have a valid driver's license from the employee's state of residence and be insurable by St. Jude's insurance carrier. Compensation In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $60,320 - $105,040 per year for the role of Assistant Registrar for St. Jude Graduate School. Explore our exceptional benefits!
