Assistant Research Analyst – Epi/HEOR Data Scientist Intern (F/N/M)

Oracle Life Sciences has a vacancy for a Data Scientist internship position with interest and/or knowledge in healthcare and research/data sciences, and in the AI field. Reporting to a Project Manager, you will work primarily on international quantitative healthcare related studies, as well as internal projects.

Committed to client service and research excellence, you will be expected to support the project team to deliver on client requests. To be successful, you will, in conjunction with the project team, be fully involved in all the stages of research studies, from the study set up to the final delivery/report and will be a key player in the data programming and the biostatistical analysis of the study results.

You will have the opportunity to go beyond local data and work on data analysis in studies with one or multiple existing data sources across all continents.

Basic Qualifications:

Education: Currently enrolled in a master’s program in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python or R and familiarity with data science libraries like Pandas, Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow. Experience with database management (SQL, PL/SQL, NoSQL, Java) and cloud-based automation tools (preferably Oracle Cloud). Strong interest or some knowledge in AI Data Analysis: Strong ability to handle large datasets, with keen attention to detail in data cleaning and exploration. Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical audiences in English. Proactivity and Independence: Ability to work autonomously and take initiative under the supervision of a line manager, while effectively collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Team player. A knowledge of statistical and data management/analysis software (SAS, R) will be a plus. Fluency in English C1 minimum. Any experience or significant interest towards the healthcare sector or pharma industry would be a plus.
