Assistant Research Scientist (part-time)
The Communication, Memory, and Mind Lab (PI: Yoon) has a part-time hourly position available to assist with scheduling research participants, running a study (e.g., eye-tracking study), and coding language data (e.g., transcription, accuracy coding) from research participants. This is a seven-month appointment that requires up to 10 hours of work per week. There is a possibility of renewal, contingent on availability of funds. The job duties for this position are highly local in nature and require onsite presence to be performed. In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the salary for this position is $20/hour. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS · Bachelor degree in speech-language pathology or relevant filed required · Basic understanding of linguistics and experimental psychology PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · At least one year of previous research experience (e.g., data collection and coding) · Basic skills in building and running eye-tracking experiments Please submit a cover letter and a resume or CV.
