Assistant Research Scientist (PI: Dr.Ryan Ruff )
The department of Epidemiology & Health Promotion at the New York University college of dentistry is currently hiring for an Assistant Research Scientist. The position sits within the Biostatistics Core under the supervision of Professor Ryan Richard Ruff. The assistant research scientist will be responsible for research support on sponsored projects related to oral health and dental medicine and will include, but is not limited to, data management and visualization, statistical analysis, informatics, evidence synthesis, and reporting. In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $60,000.00 -$85,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grand funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer. A master’s degree in clinical research, bioinformatics, or a related field is required. Experience in biostatistics and/or bioinformatics is essential, and familiarity with R, Python, and other scientific software is a plus.
