B. Position Duties
1. Oversees, provides direction and coordinates day to day operations of the Hudson Valley residential programs.
2. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, supervising, evaluating, and providing guidance to management personnel.
3. Ensures that all residential group homes operate to the safety standards set by agency and oversight agencies
(OPWDD).
4. Promote person-centered approach in service planning and delivery.
5. Sets performance standards and provide modeling, support and training as needed for staff to achieve standards. Liaison with Agency training department to ensure agency wide training needs are addressed.
6. Review of all billing forms, fire sheets and accounts on a bi-monthly basis.
7. Provides oversight to the Residential Coordinator and Managers to ensure scheduling, deployment and payroll is completed for each shift within budgetary guidelines.
8. Ensures compliance with Federal, State and local regulations as well as policy and procedures.
9. Conducts regularly scheduled meetings with management and clinical personnel to address issues related to the people we support.
10. Coordinate and participate in intake/discharges and screening process for new people attending the residential programs.
11. Performs all duties as required
C. Requirements
1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
2. Minimum 3 years' experience in developmental disabilities and /or regulatory compliance.
3. Thorough knowledge of City, State and Federal regulations
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Ability to travel to multiple locations throughout the Hudson Valley.
6. Able to work flexible hours and/or days as necessary.
7. Performs all job responsibilities in full compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Adheres to the agency's corporate compliance program, including the code of business conduct, the NYS and federal false claims acts, whistleblower protections and mandatory reporting. Completes corporate compliance training at least annually. Fully cooperates in all corporate compliance investigations and reviews.
