THE JOB:

As the Assistant Restaurant Manager at Detroit Central Market, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of our restaurant service team.  Detroit Central Market is our premier food hall offering a fresh approach to fast-casual dining. The ideal candidate will have strong active listening skills while expressing empathy to make sound business decisions that will positively impact the restaurant outlet.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Supervise the floor service team assisting in team member evaluations, scheduling, inventory controls, and executing strategies to increase profitabilityMaintain communication with the restaurant chef on all food and menu issuesEnsures high customer satisfaction and an exceptional guest experienceOversee staff and operations to ensure that service and safety standards are metAssist with ordering inventory and other essential office functions
