Key Accountabilities : 

 

Supervise and control the various daily activities of the in-room-dining (inventory management, team organization, compliance with service procedures, etc.)

Determine with your N+1 the management of the payroll, the provision of vacation days for the team as well as the staffing needs over the year or over a given period according to the budget established by the company

Be a force for proposals regarding the modifications that you deem necessary for the good of the service in agreement with the Human Resources Department and in compliance with the legislation and agreements in force

Respect and enforce standards, procedures, hygiene and safety rules in force in the establishment

Position yourself as a leader for your team and grow at the same time as your team grows

Provide customers with pleasant, efficient and professional service in accordance with Peninsula standards.

Know the Menu and each menu according to the Chef's suggestions and know how to explain the composition of the dishes to customers.

The holder of the position may be required, in exceptional circumstances, to leave the establishment in order to respond to customer requests

 

General requirements : 

 

Thorough knowledge of customer service techniques, with a passion to deliver excellent experiences.   Good understanding of hotel operations and in room dining services. Confident conversationalist, always engaging with guests and colleagues. Excellent time management and organization, ability to multi-task, highly adaptable, naturally positive. Fluent both in French and English Good management skills
