Assistant Sales Planning Manager
Key responsibilities but are not limited to: Drive Sales Planning · Partner with Brands and Commercial Lead to develop key sales targets and activities, as aligned to Brand strategies. This includes monthly and annual net sales target planning for the relevant doors and channels (FSS, FSF, SMC, DS etc) Lead the communication of trade and promotional activity planning to Demand Planning/Brand Marketing to ensure key moment optimization and anniversary planning by retailer · Work with Brand Marketing to review net sales budgets and latest estimates so that forward product forecasts can be reviewed and aligned. Participate in the SIOP/IBP meetings. · Lead net sales data analysis for trends, identifying risks and opportunities to drive sales improvement partnering Brand Marketing Operational Effectiveness: · Drive continuous improvement in sales planning processes to deliver greater efficiencies and build effectiveness across sales planning and reporting for the Affiliate · Manage monthly order replenishment and testers for the relevant Brands/Brand Cluster · Manage new store opening orders and returns from door closures as well as Limited Life/Near Expiry products from Retailers · Work with brand teams and retailers to ensure basic/promotional/limited life product orders quantification by store group/store is reviewed and aligned to store sales trends to optimize retail sales and minimize returns. · Work with Commercial Manager and Education Manager to tabulate monthly POS commission and incentives throughout retail year, track results and finalize payment with payroll · Lead other adhoc planning and reporting activities for Brand Marketing and Commercial team as requested. · Build relationships and collaborate with key partners such as Finance Business Partners, Brands, One Source and Retailers. Coaching and Development: · Lead and mentor the Retail Administration team to provide periodic sales reporting across all Brands/ channels within the Affiliate · Identify any areas of learning and development for individual team members, discuss and plan improvement strategy Workplace, Health and Safety (WHS): · Take reasonable care of the health and safety of themselves and others · Cooperate with Estee Lauder Management in the provision of a healthy and safe workplace · Report any incidents or accidents as per Company process · Undertake duties in accordance with the current Estee Lauder WHS principles, policies, procedures and objectives Confidentiality An employee must not give information or documents relating to their employment and to the company to anyone unless authorized to do so by the HR team and/or the Leadership Team. Qualifications 5 years+ work experience in the relevant field Proficient in English Experience in strategic sales planning and retail execution Strong interpersonal skills to drive collaborations across different parties Process driven and analytical Ability to manage resources Working knowledge of a computerized system including: o Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc); o Prior involvement with analytics and reporting platforms Position requires substantial and progressively broad experience in finance and accounting, with experience of working in a brand lead finance position. Ability to function and shift rapidly between strategic and tactical thinking.
