D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Assistant Secondary Marketing Operations Manager. The right candidate will be responsible for assisting in the management of daily operations of the Post Closing, Central Disclosure, Government Insuring and Purchase Clearing departments. Ensure business processes are conducted in a timely and compliant manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Participate in and aid managers with the interviewing, hiring, annual employee reviews, employee assessments and training of new employeesProvide leadership and mentoring to direct reports and employeesMeet periodically with each direct report to ensure their department is functioning as expected and needs are addressedMonitor, manage and facilitate company agency, regulatory and investor technology updatesAssist with overseeing internal and external audits for each departmentAssist with providing guidance and managing continual compliance and improvement of policies, procedures and processesAssist with managing loan pipeline and reportsAssist with coordinating and implementing company initiativesMaintain knowledge and understanding of all department’s functionsKeep informed of industry trendsConducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAbility to travel overnight

Supervises 2 or more employees

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)One to two years’ experience in secondary marketing or mortgage lending experienceExperience in team coaching and performance management within a mortgage or lending environmentExcellent interpersonal skills necessary to interface with department heads and senior managementWorking knowledge of secondary mortgage marketing processes including shipping, insuring and mortgage loan documentation Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines while handling multiple issuesAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applicationsProficiency with MS Office and emailAbility to sit for the majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral visionThe noise level is generally moderate

Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or related field from a four-year college or university is preferred
