Job Skills / Requirements

Sunstates Security has an immediate opening for an experienced Assistant Security Account Manager in the Atlanta, GA area. The  Assistant Account Manager is responsible, in coordination with the Account Manager, for the daily functioning of an assigned client portfolio including operations, customer service, personnel management, security & safety in accordance with Sunstates objectives.  This is a full-time position for primarily 1st/2nd shift, but you must be available for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and weekend shifts, as needed.   The ideal candidate will provide leadership to employees and develop and maintain strong relationships with customers both internal and external. In addition to a base salary of $60,000 - this position is eligible for industry-leading benefits, including full medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage, 401k matching plan, generous PTO, tuition assistance, and more!

The Security Assistant Account Manager will assist in the administration of the assigned account by:

Training, developing, and motivating supervisory staff to effectively oversee all day-to-day operations of the site security personnel.Overseeing the employee onboarding process including new hire interviewing, selection of candidates, training and licensure, and new hire paperwork.Training subordinate supervisors on software systems, procedural guidelines, and company policies and enforcing consistency in policy practice.Coordinating operational functions including payroll and billing, accounts receivable aging, staffing, scheduling, and personnel issues.Carrying out site assist visits and audits in accordance with the Quality Assurance program.Coordinating with the Account Manager, Regional Manager, and Regional Director to establish account goals and objectives and communicate these with account staff.
The requirements for the Operations Manager include:

Bachelor’s degree from a four (4) year college or university is preferred.3 or more years of related management and leadership
 in the security industry, law enforcement or the military preferredValid Drivers License - Clear driving record (over the age of 21)WinTeam and/or payroll experience preferred Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and time management skills.Computer proficiency with MS Office products.Ability to travel and regularly visit all site locations in the Atlanta area.Flexibility to be on call as needed during all shifts.
The Security Assistant Account Manager may perform a multitude of duties as assigned by and in coordination with the Account Manager, Regional Manager, or as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The manager must read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.


May perform other duties as assigned by Management and in coordination with the Branch Manager.
