To help the Social Services director to maintain the food warehouse and the food bank room and to maintain good relations with the clients and other community donors and the food bank of the Rockies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Will maintain food panty and distribute food boxes and weekend bags* Will help with the distribution of TEFAP food and CSFP Will help with unloading of Trucks and donations of food. Will be reasonable for overseeing the food panty when the Director is out of the building Will help oversee Montrose for the food Pantry Will need to plan 4 food drives a yearEducation, Experience, Skills, Qualifications
Education/Experience
High School Graduate or GED o Must have a working knowledge of Social Services
Skills
Experienced with Microsoft and excel Must be able to lift to 50 poundsDriving
If the position requires driving: Must be minimally 21 years of age and possessing a valid in-state Driver's LicenseBackground Check
Continued employment will be contingent upon a biennial (every two years) background check that is processed in accordance with The Salvation Army’s policies.
