Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town played an iconic role in the emergence of California's surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid-back vibe and fun, active lifestyle.

The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and Beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and in-room dining.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience managing spas in a luxury environment, strong attention to detail and organization. Is able to excel in a team environment and strong preferred knowledge of Book 4 Time or similar spa software.

Classification: Full-Time

\n\n\n

Shift: Various – must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays. 

\n\n\n

Pay Rate: The annual salary range for this role is $90,000 - $95,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location. 

\n

What will I be doing?

\n\n

As the Assistant Spa Director you would be responsible for assisting the Director to ensure the efficient operation of the facility in accordance with local, state and federal health and cleanliness standards. Participates in sales, marketing, merchandising, pricing, programming, leading fitness classes, conducting inventory and recording and tracking financial statistics. Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nOperational Management: Assist the Spa Director in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of service and cleanliness.\nGuest Experience: Enhance guest satisfaction by providing personalized service and addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.\nTeam Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate spa staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.\nFinancial Oversight: Assist in budget management, including revenue generation, cost control, and financial reporting.\nMarketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.\nProduct and Service Development: Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new treatments and products to keep the spa offerings fresh and innovative.\nCompliance and Safety: Ensure all spa operations comply with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.\n
