NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking an Assistant Superintendent at SouthPark Cemetery in Houston, Texas. Responsibilities

Assist the superintendent with the overall physical appearance and condition of cemetery grounds, funeral homes, mausoleums, crematories, buildings, roads, and walkways to which he/she is assigned Operate equipment in a safe and careful manner Ensure that all members of the caretaker team observe Federal (OSHA), state, and local safety requirements for themselves and visitors to the cemetery Able to fill any role required in the groundskeeping/facilities maintenance function

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in maintaining grounds, preferably in a cemetery 1+ years of experience in managing or leading maintenance workers Ability to fill any role in the grounds-keeping duties Maintain knowledge and adhere to OSHA law Professional communication and strong leadership skills

Compensation

$26.00-$28.00/hr.
