Assistant Superintendent

Peddie Golf Club

The Peddie Golf Club, originally established as a 9-hole course in 1923 on 44 acres of tree farm land owned by Walter C. Black, was expanded to an 18-hole course in 1952 with the remaining acres of the farm. Today, the course remains owned by the Peddie School and is managed by Troon Golf. Known for its narrow fairways, small greens, and towering trees, Peddie offers a challenge for golfers of all skill levels. Its relatively short length allows golfers with shorter drives to remain competitive, while well-designed doglegs and par 5 holes keep longer hitters engaged. This par 72 course features a unique layout, with five par 3s and five par 5s. Although the par 3s are short, they are challenging for most golfers to fully capitalize on, and the length and design of the par 5s make it difficult to recover lost strokes.
