You will contribute to the capability of our digital systems engineering consultancy team, providing advice, assurance and delivery to clients across the system engineering lifecycle. You will be part of a team that uses a tailored blend of lifecycle, service and business change delivery methods to provide high quality strategic advice, technical assurance, solution guidance, specification, system design, architecture, and testing assurance to mostly government clients. You will work closely with your clients, occasionally as their first point of contact, for technical advice. You will be responsible for getting to the heart of their needs and challenges. We are looking for assistant consultants who can work as part of a team to deliver project work under the direction of our technical leads. **In this role you will:** + Think strategically and build relationships – you’ll apply thought leadership and build strong relationships with our team members, clients and suppliers. + Collaborate effectively with the team – sharing successes, plugging gaps as needed, working with a variety of clients, and helping to coach/develop our most junior staff. + Be balanced and pragmatic, knowing when to apply processes and plans (be systematic) and when to apply flexible systems thinking. + Work in client facing environments and help to define project requirements. You’ll use your strong problem-solving mindset, work effectively in ambiguous situations and escalate to senior staff when required. **What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…** + A degree in a relevant engineering discipline and working towards professional registration with an accredited institute. + Have some domain knowledge in a relevant industry, that could be transportation or operational technology, business IT, software or engineering consultancy.
